Morning Departure from Atres Villa Munduk
Starting the Journey at 09:00 AM
The day began at 09:00 AM when we picked up Our French guests from Atres Villa Munduk after breakfast and check-out. Munduk is well known for its cool mountain climate, green hills, coffee plantations, and peaceful atmosphere, making it one of the best areas in Bali for travelers seeking nature and relaxation.
The route from Munduk toward Sekumpul Waterfall passed through beautiful countryside roads surrounded by forests, local villages, and tropical scenery.
Arrival at Sekumpul Waterfall Area
At approximately 10:30 AM, we arrived at the Sekumpul Waterfall parking area. Before starting the trekking activity, our guests enjoyed a short coffee break for around 30 minutes while preparing for the adventure ahead.

Using a local guide is highly recommended when visiting Sekumpul Waterfall because the trekking route includes stairs, river crossings, and natural paths that area easier and safer to explore with experienced assistance.
Assistance During the Trekking Activity
Besides guiding the trekking route, Angga also helped our guests take photos and videos during the journey. This personal assistance allowed the couple to fully enjoy the experience while creating beautiful memories from their Bali holiday.
The trekking officially started at around 11:00AM from the main start point.
Trekking to Sekumpul Waterfall and Hidden Waterfall
Beautiful Panorama from the Upper Viewpoint
After walking for approximately 15 minutes, our guests reached the upper viewpoint where they could see the magnificent Sekumpul Waterfall from above.
From this panoramic spot, visitors can already head the sound of the waterfall flowing strongly from the valley below. The atmosphere was peaceful, cool, and perfect for photography. The French couple spent several minutes enjoying the scenery before continuing the trekking route down toward the hidden waterfall area.
Descending Hundreds of Stairs to The Hidden and Main Sekumpul Waterfall
After enjoying the viewpoint, the adventure continued by descending approximately 350 stairs toward the river and waterfall area area below. Althrough the path can be physically challenging, the scenery along the way makes the trek highly rewarding.
The guests crowded small streams and walked through natural jungle paths before finally reaching the hidden area and the main Sekumpul Waterfall.
Swimming, Photos, and Relaxing in Nature
Once arriving at the waterfall area, the guests spent around one hour enjoying the incredible natural surroundings. They swam in the fresh mountain water, took photos and videos, and relaxed while listening to the powerful sound of the waterfalls. Just to know main Sekumpul Waterfall water coming from the ground that mean its like holy water make it always clear and fresh event the rain alot. Hidden waterfall the water coming from the river that mean the water normal can be dirty when rain.
The hidden waterfall of Sekumpul are especially popular because of their untouched natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. For travelers looking for authentic Bali nature experiences, this places is truly unforgettable.
At around 1:00 PM, the trekking activity finished, and everyone returned to the parking and finish point.
Continuing the Transfer to Amed
After completing the waterfall adventure, the journey continued toward Amed, one of Bali’s most famous coastal destinations located in the eastern part of the Island.
The drive from Sekumpul to Amed took approximately three hours, passing beautiful landscapes including mountain roads, local villages, ocean views, and traditional Balinese communities.
During the trip, the guests were able to rest comfortably inside our private vehicle while enjoying the changing scenery from North Bali to East Bali.
Arrival at Le Jardin Amed
At around 4:00 PM, we safely arrived at Le Jardin Amed. After check-in the guests immediately took time to relax and rest after a memorable day filled with nature exploration and scenic travel across Bali.
This transfer experience perfectly combined transportation, sightseeing, trekking, and cultural interaction into one enjoyable Bali journey.
