Welcome to Bali Tour Drivers. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our private driver and tour services, and our website. By messaging us on WhatsApp to enquire or book, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Our Service
Bali Tour Drivers provides private, chauffeur-driven car and tour services in Bali, Indonesia. We are a locally operated service, not a travel agency or tour operator reselling third-party packages, and not affiliated with any government tourism board.
All bookings are made directly with us via WhatsApp. We do not operate an online booking portal or payment checkout — the form on this website simply prepares a WhatsApp message for you to send us; it does not confirm a booking on its own.
2. Booking Process
- A booking is only confirmed once we reply on WhatsApp confirming your date, vehicle, itinerary, and price.
- Prices shown on this website are starting prices and may vary based on your exact itinerary, group size, vehicle choice, and season. We will always confirm the final price with you on WhatsApp before your trip.
- Please provide accurate travel dates, pickup location, and passenger count — inaccurate information may affect vehicle availability or pricing on the day.
3. Payment
We do not collect payment through this website — no card details or online payment are ever requested here. Payment is arranged directly with your driver, typically in cash (Indonesian Rupiah) or another method mutually agreed on WhatsApp, either before or on the day of your trip depending on what we agree at booking.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Being ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
- Behaving respectfully toward your driver and vehicle, and covering the cost of any damage caused by negligence or misuse.
- Following local customs and dress codes at temples and other sites your driver takes you to (e.g. sarongs, covered shoulders).
- Wearing seatbelts and following your driver’s safety guidance, especially for activities like water sports, hiking, or visits to volcanic areas.
5. Itinerary Changes
Our itineraries are flexible by design. You’re welcome to ask your driver to adjust stops, add a location, or change the pace of the day. Some changes may affect the total price or duration — your driver will let you know before proceeding if that’s the case.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Our cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out separately in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care to provide safe, well-maintained vehicles and experienced drivers. However, to the extent permitted by Indonesian law:
- We are not liable for delays, losses, or inconvenience caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- We are not responsible for the actions, quality, or safety standards of independent third parties, such as restaurants, attractions, activity operators (e.g. water sports, rafting), temples, or accommodations that your itinerary may include — these are operated by their own owners, not by us.
- Personal belongings left in the vehicle are your own responsibility; please check the car before you leave it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indonesian law.
8. Photos and Reviews
With your permission, we may occasionally ask to take a photo during your trip for our website or social media. We will not use your photo without asking first. Reviews you leave with us (e.g. on Google) are your own genuine opinions, and we do not edit or fabricate reviews.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bali, Indonesia.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
