After spending 12 wonderful days exploring Bali with a French couple, their final day on the island was a memorable journey from Sanur Port to Uluwatu. As their private driver, I was happy to accompany them during their last day before they continued their journey to Singapore.
For this final trip, I picked them up from Sanur Port at 10:00 AM and drove them toward the Uluwatu area. Their hotel for the night was Hari Indah Boutique Hotel, where they would stay before flying to Singapore the following day.
Although this was their final day in Bali, they still wanted to enjoy some of the beautiful places in the southern part of the island. We planned a relaxed itinerary that included Melasti Beach, Karang Boma Cliff, and Padang Padang Beach.

Pickup from Sanur Port at 10 AM
The day started at Sanur Port, where I picked up the French couple at around 10:00 AM.
After meeting them, we loaded their belongings into the car and started our journey toward Uluwatu. Since this was their last day in Bali, we kept the schedule comfortable and allowed enough time at each destination.
Our first destination was Melasti Beach, one of the popular beaches in the southern part of Bali.
Swimming and Lunch at Melasti Beach
We arrived at Melasti Beach before midday. The couple wanted to spend some time swimming and relaxing by the beach, so we made Melasti our first and longest stop of the day.
Relaxing from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
They spent approximately two hours at Melasti Beach, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
The beach was perfect for their final day because they could enjoy the ocean, take a break from driving, and simply relax. After spending many days visiting different destinations around Bali, having some free time at the beach gave them an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace.
Melasti Beach is also known for its dramatic limestone cliffs and beautiful coastal scenery, making it a great destination for travelers who want both relaxation and photography opportunities.
For a private Bali tour, I believe flexibility is important. Rather than rushing guests from one destination to another, I prefer giving them enough time to enjoy the places they visit.
Visiting Karang Boma Cliff Uluwatu
After Melasti Beach, we continued our journey toward Karang Boma Cliff, one of the scenic viewpoints in the Uluwatu area.
We arrived at approximately 2:00 PM and stayed until around 2:30 PM.
Enjoying the Uluwatu Ocean View
Karang Boma is well known for its spectacular cliffside view overlooking the Indian Ocean. The location provided a completely different atmosphere from Melasti Beach.
The couple enjoyed walking around the viewpoint, taking photos, and appreciating the dramatic coastline.
As a local Bali driver, I always recommend that guests pay attention to safety when visiting cliff viewpoints. The ocean scenery can be beautiful, but it is important to stay within safe areas and follow local signs and regulations.
Lunch Before Visiting Padang Padang Beach
After leaving Karang Boma Cliff, we continued toward Padang Padang Beach.
Before going down to the beach, the couple decided to stop for lunch at a local warung at around 3:00 PM.
Enjoying Local Indonesian Food
For lunch, they chose simple Indonesian dishes: gado-gado and mie goreng.
Gado-gado gave them the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Indonesian vegetable dish with peanut sauce, while mie goreng was a familiar and popular choice for travelers visiting Bali.
One of the things I enjoy about being a private driver in Bali is being able to introduce guests to local places where they can enjoy simple Indonesian food.
After lunch, we continued to Padang Padang Beach.
Exploring Padang Padang Beach
We arrived at Padang Padang Beach after lunch, and the couple walked down toward the beach.
They spent some time enjoying the atmosphere and exploring the beach until approximately 4:00 PM.
A Relaxing Final Beach Stop
Padang Padang Beach was the final attraction of their Bali journey with me.
After 12 days of traveling around Bali, it was a nice way to finish their trip: relaxing by the ocean, enjoying the beach atmosphere, and taking in the beauty of Bali’s southern coastline.
Once they finished at Padang Padang Beach, we started driving toward their hotel, Hari Indah Boutique Hotel, where they would spend their final night in Bali.
A Short Shopping Stop on the Way to the Hotel
On the way to the hotel, while passing through Jalan Raya Padang Padang, the couple noticed a shop selling shoes and decided to stop for a moment.
They looked at several pairs of shoes and considered buying something as a souvenir. However, after checking the products more carefully, they felt that the quality was not quite what they were looking for.
In the end, they decided not to purchase anything, and we continued our journey to the hotel.
This kind of spontaneous stop is another advantage of using a private driver in Bali. Guests can make small changes or stops along the way without having to follow a strict group-tour schedule.
Arriving at Hari Indah Boutique Hotel
At approximately 4:30 PM, we finally arrived at Hari Indah Boutique Hotel in the Uluwatu area.
The couple checked in and prepared for their final night in Bali. The following day, they were scheduled to leave Bali and continue their journey to Singapore.
The End of a 12-Day Bali Journey
This was a special moment for me because I had been accompanying the couple for 12 days during their Bali journey.
During those 12 days, we shared many journeys, visited different destinations, and experienced different sides of Bali together. Being trusted to provide transportation throughout such a long holiday is something I truly appreciate.
