After around 30 minutes of driving through the peaceful countryside of Ubud and Tampaksiring, we arrived at the first destination, Gunung Kawi Temple at approximately 9:30 AM.

Before entering the temple area, the guests received traditional Balinese sarongs (kamen), which were already included in the entrance ticket. Wearing A sarong is part of Balinese temple etiquette and an important cultural experience for visitors.
Exploring the Ancient Temple Complex
The French couple spent around 1.5 hours exploring Gunung Kawi Temple. The temple is famous for its ancient stone carvings carved directly into the cliffs and surrounded by lush tropical scenery and rice fields.
During the visit, they enjoyed walking down the stone steps, observing traditional Balinese architecture, and taking photos near the historic shrines and river area. Our driver also assisted them with several couple photos and videos during the visit.
Exploring Tirta Empul Temple
At around 11:00 AM, we continued the journey to Tirta Empul Temple, located only around 10 minutes from Gunung Kawi Temple.
Sightseeing Around The Holy Spring Temple
The couple spent approximately one hour exploring the temple complex. Although they did not participate in the traditional purification ritual, they enjoyed walking around the holy spring area, observing local worship activities, and taking photos and videos around the temple grounds.
Coffee Tasting Experience at Intan Sari Luwak Coffee
At around 12:10 PM, we continued the tour to Intan Sari Luwak Coffee.
Trying Balinese Coffee and Herbal Tea
The guests enjoyed tasting various traditional Balinese coffee and tea selections, including the famous Luwak Coffee. The staff explained the coffee- making process and introduced different local flavors produced in Bali.
Feeding the Friendly Luwak
One of the most intresting experience for the guests was meeting and feeding the tame Luwak animals. This became a fun and unique moment during their Bali tour experience.
Lunch with Rice Terrace View at Green Terrace Warung
After finishing at the coffee plantation around 1:30 PM, we headed to Green Terrace Warung, located about 20 minutes away near of Tegalalang Rice Terrace.
Relaxing Lunch with Beautiful Scenery
From 2:00 PM until 2:40 PM, the couple enjoyed lunch while overlooking the beautiful Tegalalang Rice terraces. The peaceful atmosphere and fresh countryside air made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The restaurant is well known for its scenic rice fields views, making it a popular Lunch stop for travelers exploring the Ubud and Tegalalang area.
Trekking at Real Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Afternoon Rice Terrace Trekking Experience
After lunch, we continued directly to Tegalalang Rice Terrace for a trekking experience.
The trekking started around 2:50 PM and continued until around 4:30 PM. During the walk, the guests explored the real local pathways through the rice terraces, crossed small bamboo bridges, and enjoyed the beautiful green landscapes of rural Bali.
Helping Guests Capture Their Bali Memories
Throughout the trekking experience, our driver assisted the couple in taking many photos and videos in taking many photos and videos in different scenic spots around the rice fields. These moments became one of the highlights of their Bali holiday.
Returning to The Patra Villa Sebatu
After completing the trekking activity, we returned to The Patra Villa Sebatu for rest and relaxation. The private day tour officially finished in the late afternoon after a wonderful day exploring Bali’s temples, coffee plantation, local cuisine, and rice terraces.
